Our Supplier Relationships
Responsible purchasing through the relationship with our suppliers. This is why SAFRA is committed to a real continuous improvement process which is reflected in all stages of the purchasing process and mobilizes all our suppliers. SAFRA’s commitments to its suppliers are:
- To create a balanced, sustainable, and mutually fair relationship between Safra and our suppliers
To strengthen our collaboration and communication, especially with strategic suppliers
- To control the risks of mutual dependence
To choose suppliers by evaluating the total cost of the purchase
To ensure that the company is well informed about its needs and direction, particularly in terms of R&D and innovation
- To consider the environmental and societal impact of the product or service
SAFRA looks at all these dimensions, ensuring a fair and equitable contractual relationship.
The Responsible Purchasing Charter
The Responsible Purchasing Charter is a tool put in place by the French government to encourage companies and public organizations to integrate sustainability and social responsibility criteria in their purchasing. This charter aims to promote responsible purchasing practices and to support the social and solidarity economy. It is based on five main principles: respect for the environment, sustainable development, the fight against corruption and fraud, the quality and safety of products and services, and the development of balanced and sustainable relationships with suppliers.
This Charter clarifies SAFRA’s expectations of its suppliers and subcontractors. This Charter also aims to share the CSR strategy that SAFRA has put in place with its suppliers and subcontractors, and to ensure their involvement in sustainable development.
