The first of the 16 trainsets of the VAL 208AG mid-life renovation contract in Rennes was delivered this Tuesday, September 14, to the garage-workshop of the metro line A, according to the contractual schedule.
With constant exchanges with Rennes Métropole, Setec ITS and Kéolis Rennes, and thanks to the involvement of the SAFRA teams as well as that of our partners, this first trainset was able to be processed according to the established renovation program while respecting the time constraints. The tests for the return to service of this train set will be held from October 6 to 8 and will complete the work. The removal of the next train set is scheduled for October 15.
