📅 In partnership with HYmpulsion and GEG – Gaz Electricité de Grenoble, a demonstration of our HYCITY bus took place on Tuesday April 9 and Wednesday April 10 in the snowy Tarentaise valley. The event began at the Moûtiers hydrogen recharging station, part of the Hympulsion network. Over the course of the two days, we drove on routes representative of the mobility needs of ski resorts, between Moûtiers and the various resorts of Courchevel and TIGNES OFFICIEL. Our vehicle was able to tackle some particularly steep slopes, while maintaining an excellent driving speed.
❄️Our HYCITY bus proved its performance in winter weather conditions (-4° in Tignes) with remarkable ease. It even reached an altitude of 2300m in Tignes-Val Claret, a first for a hydrogen bus!
🚌💧 With an estimated range of 350km in the mountains, HYCITY proved its reliability and efficiency in the most demanding environments, while consuming less than 7kg of hydrogen per 100km with a cumulative positive altitude difference of over 2000m. Passengers have been won over by this means of transport offering the same comfort as a conventional bus, with no emissions of harmful pollutants.
🌍 This event demonstrates the commitment of our stakeholders to communities seeking to address their transport decarbonization issues. It also illustrates the relevance of hydrogen technology for mobility in mountainous environments.
