This winter, our HYCITY hydrogen bus has undergone several tests in very demanding driving conditions.
Although this vehicle is designed to operate in an urban environment, these tests allowed us to put it through its paces in winter driving conditions that could affect many European cities ❄.
During these tests we :
👉Achieved a cumulative climb of 2000m (1300m+700m)
👉 Reached an altitude of 2300m
👉 Operating our fuel cell at this altitude in -4°C snow
👉 Consumed 7kg of hydrogen per 100km on this route
All this with a long range and optimum passenger and driver comfort (heating, lighting, rear-view mirrors, screens and USB charging).
More full scale tests to come…
