Vincent Lemaire, President of SAFRA, participated in the round table discussion “Where are we in the development of territorial ecosystems around the development of hydrogen uses?” during the morning session of the General Inspection of Environment and Sustainable Development (IGEDD) held this Monday, May 22 at the Comets Meeting in Paris.
SAFRA, French pioneer of hydrogen buses and H2 retrofit of intercity coaches, has a very special role in hydrogen ecosystems by proposing a use for collective sustainable mobility. Very positively, we are observing an appetite from our politicians in Europe, in France as well as in our regions and agglomerations, for these subjects with 750 buses in project. They are also citizens who understand the issues of energy and industrial sovereignty as well as the challenges of climate change.
We are proud to be part of the powerful hydrogen industry ecosystem with Symbio, Plastic Omnium and the energy companies. There is still a lot to do and we have the ambition to accelerate, to continue to create jobs in France to create products, industrialize and reduce costs.
The recently launched call for ADEME territorial ecosystem projects is particularly welcome to support our future clients.
