ISO 9001 certification attests to our commitment to rigorous quality management, aimed at achieving customer satisfaction through continuous process improvement. At the same time, ISO 14001 certification testifies to our environmental responsibility, by integrating environmentally-friendly practices into all our activities.
Thanks to this global approach, we ensure the satisfaction of our customers, employees and shareholders, while actively contributing to the protection of our planet. Our QSE policy is an essential pillar in building long-term relationships of trust with our partners, and in maintaining our leading position in the sustainable public transport sector.
Quality
At SAFRA, quality is at the heart of each and every one of our departments, and is a daily concern in all our activities. Our Quality approach is the subject of a formal commitment by General Management. Our management system has been recognized as compliant with ISO9001 version 2015 by 2022.
We have confirmed our environmental commitments by obtaining ISO 14001 certification in October 2022, and we intend to pursue them by aiming for the HQE label for the building extension planned for 2023.
SAFRA is also ISO 3834-2 certified, a standard that defines international quality requirements for welding. It attests to SAFRA’s expertise in metalworking, and more specifically in fusion welding of metallic materials. We regularly use our welding know-how in the manufacture of our hydrogen bus chassis, as well as in the manufacture of a wide range of custom-made equipment and tooling for the rolling and non-rolling stock we refurbish.
The ISO 3834 standard is a guarantee of quality and reliability for our customers and partners, reducing the risk of defects and non-conformity. Combined with a team of experienced welders regularly trained in new techniques, we are able to offer our customers a high level of service quality.
