Safra was present at the SIANE exhibition in the Exhibition and Convention Centre – MEETT in Toulouse between the 18th and 20th of October 2022. A rich exhibition which allows to present the novelties of the French and international companies related to the industrial sector.
On Wednesday, October 19, our Sales & Marketing Director Eric BALEVIEZ took part in a round table discussion on the theme: What are the industrial challenges for the development of hydrogen?
Eric presented Safra’s commitment to R&D since 2011 in the hydrogen sector, with 60 people in engineering working on the development of low-carbon mobility solutions (new vehicles and retrofits) and an industrialization plan for a transition to scale that creates jobs in all areas, whether they are specific to energy, industry, logistics, quality, etc.)
Today, the Occitanie / Pyrenees-Mediterranean Region is mobilized by the climate emergency and the territories are deploying their “Hydrogen Plan”. On this innovative field of hydrogen energy, Occitania has a head start with innovative projects such as HyPort, the experimentation of the hydrogen train, the trans-Pyrenean corridor H2Pyr… The industrial ecosystem is also committed to this field.
