Henri-Michel COMET, prefect of the Midi-Pyrénées region, and Josiane CHEVALIER, prefect of the Tarn, will visit SAFRA (Société Albigeoise de Fabrication et Réparation Automobile) on Tuesday, November 6.
Created in 1955, SAFRA’s first vocation was the bodywork of coaches on chassis cabs. Today, it is present on three distinct markets: automotive bodywork, industrial and railway bodywork and interior fittings.
SAFRA, which continues to grow, is an example of the richness and vitality of the Tarn economy. This independent structure is particularly attached to the Tarn department. It is the bearer of innovative projects whose benefits for the local economy could be very important. For example, with Businova, the company has developed a bus of the future, energy efficient and adapted to the needs of users and communities.
The visit, which will take place from 10 am, is open to the press.
