Tisséo, the operator of public transport in Toulouse, has entrusted SAFRA with the renovation of 28 metro trains.
This project will require a long period of studies, carried out directly at SAFRA, in order to produce a prototype that will be operated and tested over a period of one year.
SAFRA’s Industrial Bodywork Department, specialist in the renovation of public transport equipment, will carry out the exterior renovation and the modification of the interior of the Toulouse metro.
The study phase will start in 2010 and the project will be completed in 2014.
